Two spots.

Pagham Yacht Club. Don’t rig up right in front of the club, move 10 yards to the left or right and the old men wont complain! Great spot at low tide for beginners. with light SW winds the water is very flat and with a shallow sea bed you can walk out roughly 60m, and windsurf along the beach some 200m without ever being out of standing depth.

Pagham Spit Follow the dirt track down very near to the yacht club and you eventually arrive at the Pagham Harbour. A stone beach with a car park 100m from the tide line. A good spot in F4 SW round to E. Can sometimes get a nice swell during the winter months (NEVER in the summer though) and is cross-shore down the line in a SW wind, but the waves don't tend to get too big - it has to be HUGE at places like Witterings before Pagham really starts working. Rarely gets much bigger than head high. They used to be much bigger here but the sea bed and spit has changed, hence the waves aren’t so big today.

Don't go to the spit at low tides, particularly spring tides, as it's a huge huge walk through ankle deep water!

Car park is locked up in the evening, so check the closing time before you head to the water, cause they wont open up for you to get out.

Pagham generally tends to suffer from weed in late July/August - not a problem with smaller fins, but can be a real nuisance with bigger formula kit.
