Best wavesailing conditions are S to SW. Can be an excellent port tack cross-shore wavesailing spot if there is a strong NE seabreeze. A number of reefs about 200m from the shore make it great for wave jumping. Kitesurfing is good aswell. If the wind shifts to the S or SE and the shore break is too big, the tip of Longreef has a right-hand breaking reef with a flat lagoon on the inside for cross-shore wavesailing. Walking distance to the only windsurfing shop on the northern beaches.
