The windiest spot in Sydney due to its flat topography and ability to catch the seabreeze. Best conditions are W and NE where it is 10-15 knots windier than anywhere else in Sydney. It's also perfect for the days with a forecast of W/NW swinging to S/SE as you can sail off the small strip of beach on the south side of the carpark. You shouldn't have any problems getting a parking spot here either in summer, when Wanda or Brighton Le Sands can fill up early in the day.
Kitesurfing is good provided that you don't smash into the groins. About 30 mins drive south from the airport. No waves, so nearest spot for wavesailing is Wanda Beach.
