This is one of Victoria's premier kitesurfing locations and is about 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne.
Kiting on clean water inside the inlet is best, but you can also go outside the inlet to get waves on the open beach.
The harbour provides some shelter from the wind and chop, continue out for clean wind.
Rig up just east of the jetty, or further along the Esplanade at the Angling club.

- Prominent sandbars at low tide.
- Strong current in the channel to the sea near the inlet mouth
- If kiting in the surf, consider doing so on an incoming tide.
