Barnes Bridge is the launch the Fire Ant crew heads to when the winds clock to the North or North East. The park is kind of rough and there can be broken glass (it's popular with the fisherman and teenagers after midnight). But there's tons of room to spread out gear and it's got a good fetch to the north so if the wind is up the swell can be pretty awesome. Usually sets up really good for Port tack jumping.
Again, no alcohol. It's patrolled by the Dallas County Sheriff - they have no sense of humor about beer (or a lot of other things), but they love to watch the sailing (so you're vehicle is safe for at least awhile).
A bad place to break down so don't sail alone.
