Windsurfing near Alligator Point

Easy wave spot on the Gulf, and flat water sailing in the bay. Gulf is best with East to Southwest wind and fires mainly in the springtime with 20 knot thermals and waist high ramps. Easy rigging but beware of the sand spurs and prickly pears. No water hazards in the Gulf except for the ocassional red tide in the late summer. Blows in the morning when SE and afternoon when wind is West and almost never vica versa. Basically very user fiendly and one hour SW of Tallahappy. Site is marked by limestone boulders. If you've gone to the marina, you've gone too far. No shower or restrooms.
