Adicora is known to local venezuelan windsurfers and some foreign tourists. Not as well known or developed as El Yaque, the beach is windy year round and has a couple of local schools. Kitesurfing is currently (2006) getting popular, as kitesurfers from central venezuelan cities (Valencia, Caracas, etc)visit over the weekends and the sport is being tought by the local windsurfing schools.
